The Fifth China•Yancheng Environmental Protection Industry Fair(EPIF) closed on October 30th . According to the News Conference, 14 cooperation projects with total investment of RMB4.16 billion were signed at the EPIF, covering industrial development, R&D, platform building and international cooperation.
An exhibition stand of organic fertilizer was crowded with visitors. The exhibitor developed an all-in-one facility that can turn livestock manure into bio-fertilizers ahead of its peers. Through technology transfer, the facility can both benefit the environment and constitute a new profit point for livestock breeding enterprises. In Chen Li, the exhibitor’s own words: “Traditional animal excrement disposal requires constant stir and strain spray around twenty days. Such a process is time-consuming and produces heavy pollution as well as strong odour. Now with the new facility and the high temperature strain developed by us, the cycle is much more efficient.
What measures can we use to purify water to ensure healthy water for drinking? How to treat solid wastes properly? One can also find answers to these environmental questions in everyday life at the Fair.
Jiang Donghua, a representative from the exhibitor said: “Our equipment is a pipe detector robot. It can send back photos of pipes in urban drainage systems and therefor be used to detect leak or malfunction there.
Subhani, another exhibitor told us: “Chinese government attaches great importance to environmental protection. We have good technology and products abroad and fairs like this it is a good opportunity for us to bring international ideas and practice in to China to benefit enterprises.
